Everseal Epoxy Floors
​
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Everseal Epoxy Floors. By accepting a quote or allowing work to commence, the client agrees to these terms.

1. Scope of Work
Everseal Epoxy Floors agrees to supply and install epoxy flooring systems as outlined in the accepted quote.
Services may include:

Surface preparation (grinding, crack repair, cleaning)

Epoxy coating installation
-
Decorative flake or finish application
-
Sealing and finishing coats
Any additional work not listed in the quote may result in additional charges.

2. Quotes & Variations
​
Quotes are based on a visual inspection and expected floor conditions.
Additional charges may apply if unexpected issues are discovered during preparation, including but not limited to:

Severe oil contamination
-
Existing coatings or sealers
-
Weak or deteriorated concrete
-
Structural cracks
-
Excessive moisture levels
These conditions may require additional preparation work which will be quoted before proceeding.

3. Deposits and Payment
​

A deposit may be required to secure a booking.
-
Remaining payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed.
-
Late payments may incur administrative or recovery fees.
Failure to make payment may result in legal recovery action.

4. Customer Responsibilities
​
The client must ensure:

The work area is completely clear of vehicles, furniture, and items
-
Electricity and water are available if required
-
Pets and children are kept away from the work area
-
The property is accessible during the scheduled work time
The contractor is not responsible for moving personal belongings.

5. Concrete Conditions
​
Concrete is a natural material and may contain imperfections that affect epoxy flooring.
Everseal Epoxy Floors is not responsible for issues arising from:

Existing cracks or structural movement
-
Weak or deteriorating concrete
-
Moisture within the slab
-
Hydrostatic pressure from beneath the slab
-
Oil or chemical contamination absorbed into concrete
Concrete movement or cracking may cause cracks to reappear through the epoxy coating, which is normal and not covered by warranty.

6. Moisture and Substrate Issues
​
Moisture within the concrete slab can cause delamination, bubbling, or coating failure.
Moisture readings represent conditions at the time of testing only. Future moisture changes may occur due to weather, rainfall, plumbing leaks, or ground movement.
Everseal Epoxy Floors cannot guarantee performance where moisture exists within the slab.

7. Appearance Variations
​
Due to the nature of epoxy coatings, the finished floor may have minor variations including:

Slight colour variations
-
Differences in flake distribution
-
Roller marks or texture variations
-
Minor dust particles or air bubbles
Samples and images are for guidance only and final appearance may vary.

8. Curing and Usage
​
After installation, the client must follow curing guidelines:
Typical curing times:
-
Light foot traffic: 24–48 hours
-
Heavy items: 72 hours
-
Vehicles: 5–7 days
Exposure to chemicals, water, or heavy loads during curing may damage the floor.

9. Warranty
​
Everseal Epoxy Floors provides a limited workmanship warranty for installations.
The warranty covers defects caused by:

Incorrect surface preparation
-
Improper product application
-
Adhesion failure caused by workmanship
10. Warranty Exclusions
​
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
-
Structural movement or cracking of the slab
-
Moisture or hydrostatic pressure
-
Chemical spills (battery acid, solvents, etc.)
-
Scratches, impact damage, or abuse
-
Normal wear and tear
-
UV exposure or colour fading
-
Damage caused by other trades
-
Improper cleaning or maintenance
Most epoxy flooring warranties exclude these issues because they are outside the installer’s control.

11. Cleaning and Maintenance
​
To maintain the epoxy floor:

Clean spills promptly
-
Avoid dragging heavy objects
-
Use protective pads under heavy equipment
-
Avoid harsh chemicals unless recommended
Failure to maintain the floor properly may void warranty.
​
12. Cancellations
​
If the client cancels a booking within 7 days of the scheduled start date, the deposit may be forfeited.
​
13. Limitation of Liability
​
To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Everseal Epoxy Floors is not liable for indirect losses such as inconvenience, business interruption, or loss of use.

Liability is limited to the value of the contract amount paid.
14. Access & Delays
​
The contractor is not responsible for delays caused by:
-
Weather conditions
-
Site accessibility issues
-
Other trades on site
-
Power outages or material delays
-

15. Governing Law
​
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.
